Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain microservices supporting pharmacy workflows
- Build integrations with external healthcare systems and APIs
- Implement data processing pipelines for healthcare analytics
- Write comprehensive tests and maintain high code quality standards
- Collaborate on system architecture and technical decision making
- Participate in code reviews and mentoring junior developers
- Support production deployments and incident response
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Python development experience
- 3+ years of experience with AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, SQS) or other cloud provider equivalents
- 2+ years of experience in async programming and modern Python patterns
- 2+ years of experience with RESTful API development
- 2+ years of understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
- 2+ years of Test-driven development mindset with pytest experience
- 2+ years of knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Experience with serverless architecture and Lambda functions
- Knowledge of healthcare/pharmacy domain or regulated industries
- Background in event-driven microservices and service-oriented architecture
- Experience with data validation, serialization/marshalling frameworks (Pydantic, Marshmallow)
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform)
- Experience with flask/SQL alchemy or other modern MVC framework and ORM
