About this role
WEX is a company that manages risk across various domains including financial crime and money movement safety. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Process Transformation to oversee process automation initiatives and transform operational workflows into efficient systems, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the intake (ingestion) pipeline of automation opportunities across the business
- Partner with business stakeholders to define problem statements, requirements, and success metrics
- Translate business needs into technical requirements for engineering teams
- Lead end-to-end delivery of RPA initiatives, including requirements gathering, UAT, and implementation
- Analyze current-state processes and design future-state automated solutions
- Drive cost reduction and operational efficiency through automation of manual workflows
- Perform cost/benefit and ROI analysis for transformation initiatives
- Act as a strategic liaison between business, engineering, and operations teams
- Track and report on key performance metrics tied to automation success
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience (or equivalent experience in transformation-focused roles)
- 2–3+ years of experience in process improvement, change management, or consulting
- Hands-on experience with robotic process automation (RPA) platforms
- Strong background in financial services, banking, or payments operations (e.g., collections, disputes, underwriting)
- Experience owning end-to-end process transformation initiatives
- Experience gathering requirements, managing UAT, and driving implementation
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with both business stakeholders and engineering teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to operate autonomously and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience with UiPath or similar RPA platforms
- UiPath Business Professional Certification
- Background in large-scale financial operations or money movement systems
- Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g., financial risk, compliance)
- Experience preparing organizations for AI or advanced automation solutions
