Business Intelligence Analyst II

Myriad Genetics is a leading molecular diagnostic testing and precision medicine company dedicated to advancing health and well-being. They are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to partner with team members and stakeholders, delivering business results through data analysis and enhancing data literacy within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Outline and facilitate the collection of key data sources needed to drive business insights and direction
• Champion self-service capabilities within the citizen (functional embedded) analyst’s teams
• Deliver prototype and initial cuts of analytics as examples to embedded analyst individuals
• Assist in the analysis of information to understand various trends and related opportunities
• Interpret reporting results and assist in the creation of action plans to drive business objectives
• Drive the creation and administration of Common Definitions leading to accuracy and trust of reporting
• Support the leadership team in leveraging reporting to drive business objectives
• Translate technical and functional user requirements into value driven solutions between technical and non-technical teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, science, business administration, or related field required
• 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, operations support, finance, consulting, or equivalent work
• Understanding of Data Analysis in relation to Business Process modeling
• Excellent communicator with superior written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Stakeholder management experience. Comfortable presenting to individual contributors within your function and management
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks, manage time and organize effectively, work under tight timelines, and communicate effectively
• Applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder) living full time in the USA
• 1+ years preferred experience with business intelligence and analytics tools (SQL, Snowflake, Looker, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
