Modus is a global digital product engineering partner that collaborates with clients to deliver innovative solutions. They are seeking a Senior Atlassian Solution Engineer to shape client solutions and drive successful engagements from presales through delivery, acting as a technical solution advocate and designing scalable Atlassian-based solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical lead in the sales cycle, supporting qualification and presenting the value of proposed solutions to clients
- Lead discovery workshops to define outcomes and solution architecture
- Design solutions across Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Ability to extend JSM into comprehensive Enterprise Service Management (ESM) use cases (Incident, HR, etc.)
- Experience delivering proof-of-concepts (POCs), prototypes, and technical validations
- Advise on toolchain consolidation, workflow optimization, and platform modernization
Requirements:
- 6+ years in solutions engineering, consulting, or technical advisory (SaaS/enterprise software)
- Expert in translating business requirements into scalable Atlassian-based solutions for customers
- Crucial Presales Support: Act as the primary technical lead in the sales cycle, supporting qualification and presenting the value of proposed solutions to clients
- Lead discovery workshops to define outcomes and solution architecture
- Design solutions across Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management (JSM)
- Ability to extend JSM into comprehensive Enterprise Service Management (ESM) use cases (Incident, HR, etc.)
- Experience delivering proof-of-concepts (POCs), prototypes, and technical validations
- Strong foundation in Agile, DevOps, and ITSM frameworks and best practices
- Advise on toolchain consolidation, workflow optimization, and platform modernization
- Experience with Atlassian Cloud Enterprise, advanced configuration, and automation
- Familiarity with Atlassian Intelligence (AI), automation rules, and emerging AI-driven workflows
- Atlassian Certifications (ACP) or Solution Partner experience
