EVERSANA INTOUCH® is a global, full-service marketing agency network serving the life sciences industry. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing testing within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, authoring and performing various types of testing for client projects, and collaborating with other departments to improve quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute testing within the marketing operations team
- Author and perform functional, component, unit, end to end and system testing for all client projects
- Analyze requirements documentation and technical specifications to develop an appropriate test plan for a project
- Serve as an advocate for department standards and promote and develop new approaches, processes and methodologies
- Collaborate with other departments as part of a team project
- Troubleshoot and repair existing test scripts
- Take ownership of maintaining and monitoring data driven processes by owning or triaging issues to ensure resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education plus professional experience required
- Five or more years of experience with QC testing in the software development industry
- Deep experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Extensive experience developing and executing test scripts, test matrices and test cases at the required level of detail for each project/feature request
- Strong experience with managing, tracking, reporting and resolving defects identified during the testing process using fact-based metrics
- Experience authoring and reading SQL queries to validate data and data injection to support test scenarios
- Working knowledge of DevOps lifecycle
- Knowledge of system integration
- Strong skills in diagnosing and solving complex problems as well as providing technical analysis
- Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively bring discussions and issue to closure
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair existing test scripts
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams as well as work independently
- Specific knowledge and experience in several of the following areas: building test scenarios from requirements, test reviews, reading and using use cases, Agile/Scrum
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Proficient computer skills with common business applications such as Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to take ownership of maintaining and monitoring data driven processes by owning or triaging issues to ensure resolution
- Best practices working with sensitive data classifications such as PII and/or PHI
- Experience in healthcare, life sciences or marketing industries
- Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and troubleshooting automated integration issues
- Experience authoring and executing API testing
- Familiarity with Adobe marketing platform
