Data Engineering Manager

EmergenceTek Group Inc. is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead a data lake implementation and infrastructure transformation. The role involves architecting scalable data solutions to support the development and delivery of life-saving medications to patients nationwide.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of a comprehensive data lake solution (AWS or Azure)
• Manage and grow a team of skilled data engineers while establishing best practices for cloud-native data architecture
• Drive the migration strategy from legacy C# .NET/SQL systems to modern cloud-based infrastructure
• Maintain compliance with PHI and healthcare data privacy regulations throughout all data initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders across California and nationwide to deliver robust, scalable data solutions

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure)
• Proven experience managing data engineering teams and delivering large-scale data migration projects
• Deep knowledge of data storage, cloud migration strategies, and modern data lake architectures
• Experience handling PHI and sensitive consumer data with strict privacy compliance requirements
• Comfortable working with legacy systems (C# .NET, SQL) and modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter, Oracle, or SQL Server in a legacy migration context is a plus
