- Ensure designs meet requirements for mechanical integrity, thermal performance, serviceability, and scale
- Drive system-level design across compute, cooling, and infrastructure interfaces
- Partner with internal and external teams to validate designs
- Define platform interfaces with infrastructure, including: Liquid cooling (CDUs, fluid routing, connections)
- Installation, transport, and handling
- Facility interfaces (space, power, cooling, serviceability)
- Ensure deployment readiness and resolve gaps impacting scale
- Define telemetry requirements (power, temperature, flow, pressure, system health)
- Ensure instrumentation is enabled at deployment
- Partner with software/data teams to support monitoring and analysis
- Identify and close gaps in telemetry coverage and data quality
- Drive standardization across rack platforms
- Establish best practices for connections, transport, leak detection, and instrumentation
- Maintain documentation as a source of truth
