Software Engineer GO

Cloudera is a company that empowers people to transform complex data into clear and actionable insights. They are looking for an experienced engineer to help build robust and scalable data infrastructure software, focusing on Cloudera Data Warehouse and collaborating with various teams to deliver features and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, test and release new features and enhancements for Cloudera Data Warehouse
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, support, UX, and documentation teams to deliver features and enhancements
• Provide support to our field team and customers, facilitating product adoption and growth, smooth implementation and troubleshooting

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, and 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker containerization
• Solid Golang programming skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborative mindset. And, comfortable interacting online with a worldwide team
• Some Experience/Familiarity working with cloud services such as relating to Authentication/Authorization, Managed Kubernetes, VMs, Storage services on any of Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience supporting high customer impact systems in production and on-call rotations
• Experience writing Kubernetes Operators
• Experience with DevOps, Linux Troubleshooting
