The Software Engineer 1 (Backend) will work closely with experienced developers to design and develop new APIs, optimize existing APIs, and resolve on-call bugs, while also contributing to front-end development if interested.

Responsibilities:

Developing large features
Fixing on-call bugs
Designing and developing new APIs
Optimizing/fixing bugs in the existing APIs
Writing tests for the APIs
Resolving on-call bugs
Continuing working on the feature development planned for the sprint
Contributing to front-end development in NextJS and jQuery

Requirements:

0.5+ years of full-time experience in Python and Django/Django REST framework (DRF)
Good understanding of MySQL, Git, and GitHub/GitLab
Good debugging and online searching skills
Good communication skills
Good problem-solving skills. (Ability to solve easy data structures and algorithms problems)
Experience/interest in front-end development, contributing to front-end development in NextJS and jQuery
