ASSYST is seeking a QA Tester (Credit Card and Electronic Payments) with initiative, who is a self-starter and able to work independently when given objectives. This role will support testing across all aspects of credit card payment operations as the organization migrates to the JPM solution in Rockville, Maryland (Onsite role)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing of payments, receipts, user experiences, user interfaces, documentation, reconciliation, and communication.
- Provide structured feedback to project management teams and software developers.
- Develop positive and negative testing scenarios and corresponding test scripts for online and card-present payments.
- Document test results using tools such as Visio, OneNote, and SnagIt.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on user experience (UX) for online payments, in-person payments, refunds, receipts, and IVR (Interactive Voice Response) phone payments.
- Review and provide feedback on payment reports and reconciliation files integrated with the County s ERP system.
- Contribute input for change management communications to payment application users.
- Provide post-Go Live support for business operations transitioning to the JPM platform, including troubleshooting payment issues.
- Maintain documentation to support payment processes.
- Develop, review, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for credit card acceptance, online payment workflows, and in-person transactions.
Required Experience:
- Hands-on experience with the PaymentUS online payment platform and familiarity with the Agent Dashboard.
- Experience with Chase Merchant Services card-present platform.
- Proven ability to provide User Experience (UX) feedback across the payment lifecycle for goods and services.
- Proven ability to provide User Interface (UI) feedback across the payment lifecycle for goods and services.
- Experience developing negative testing scenarios and test scripts for payment lifecycle processes.
- Strong background in documenting defects and providing actionable feedback to technical teams for resolution in test or production environments.
Skills and Tools:
- Proficiency in documentation and testing tools (Visio, OneNote, SnagIt).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing objectives.
