Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Experience in the consumer smart home or subscription-based services space.
- Familiarity with foundational platform concepts such as APIs, SDKs, developer tools, and governance models.
- Understanding of platform capabilities and how to build partner solutions to drive core business metrics (e.g., subscriptions, user engagement).
- Ability to define, launch, and scale technical products, including setting a strategy and execution across multiple engineering teams.
- Ability to work effectively with external partners (e.g., OEMs, service providers) on joint product development and go-to-market strategies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap specifically aimed at leveraging partner solutions to drive user adoption, engagement, and ultimately, Google Home subscription growth.
- Conduct market and user research to identify unmet needs and compelling new joint partner offerings that create an engaged advantage for the Google Home ecosystem.
- Define the goal, strategy, and detailed roadmap for new solutions as well as partners facing core software and services capabilities of the Google Home Platform.
- Translate partner and ecosystem needs into clear, concise, and prioritized product specifications and requirements for engineering teams.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, UX Design, Research, and other core Google Product Teams to ensure platform capabilities are scalable, meet security/privacy standards, and provide a seamless developer/partner experience.
