Backend Software Engineer （Bilingual in Mandarin ）

Comrise is hiring for a Global Top Social Media platform, seeking a Backend Software Engineer who is bilingual in Mandarin. The role involves supporting system development and maintenance for international business, participating in technology selection, and collaborating with global teams to ensure efficient project delivery and system optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for supporting the system development and maintenance of our international business in the U.S. and global markets, empowering the efficient iteration and large-scale expansion of overseas business
• Participate in technology selection and architectural design of core server-side modules, building high-performance, highly available distributed systems to ensure stability, scalability, and low latency under cross-regional, high-concurrency scenarios
• Collaborate closely with globally distributed product, operations, frontend, backend, and QA teams to efficiently deliver international projects and drive continuous system optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, with solid foundational knowledge
• Minimum 2+ years of backend development experience, with preference given to candidates with international business or overseas user-facing product development experience
• Proficient in at least one of Java or Go programming languages, with excellent code design skills and strict coding standards
• Skilled in applying design patterns to improve engineering efficiency and reduce system complexity and long-term maintenance costs
• Deep understanding of MySQL, Redis, RocketMQ/Kafka, ElasticSearch, and other common technologies, with knowledge of their core principles and application scenarios
• Strong understanding of distributed system design, with practical experience in microservices architecture and service governance (e.g., service discovery, configuration management, traffic routing, observability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery)
• Strong sense of ownership and business awareness, capable of taking end-to-end responsibility for complex business modules
• Excellent cross-team and cross-regional communication and collaboration skills, able to drive problem-solving efficiently and adapt to a diverse, fast-paced international team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) and collaborate seamlessly within a global team environment
• Experience in high-concurrency system design and performance optimization is preferred
• Open-source project contributions are a strong plus
