The Engineering Manager will lead a cross-functional team of engineers, ensuring delivery excellence and fostering a culture of effective AI usage while managing and developing the team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, coach, and develop software engineers across web, mobile, and backend disciplines
- Establish clear expectations, priorities, and success metrics for the team
- Own delivery outcomes, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
- Partner with Product, Design, and cross-functional stakeholders on planning and execution
- Encourage responsible, effective use of AI across the software development lifecycle
- Provide technical guidance without micromanaging implementation
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team growth
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of professional software engineering experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing and developing engineers
- Experience leading teams across multiple platforms (web, mobile, backend)
- Strong judgment around delivery, quality, and technical tradeoffs
- Experience with consumer-facing, marketplace, or real-time products
- Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated ability to mentor teams in effective AI usage
