CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager I to join their Electric Distribution Team in a remote capacity. This role involves managing electric distribution projects, overseeing project delivery, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage electric distribution projects from proposal development through completion, delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective utility infrastructure solutions
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including scope, budget, and schedule, while serving as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Coordinate contracts, purchase orders, and project documentation with clients, utility partners, and subcontractors
- Lead project financials, subcontractor payments, and monthly review meetings with operations
- Develop project-specific health and safety plans and ensure QA/QC compliance as determined by the Quality Management Plan
- Communicate updates clearly to clients, management, and project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, science, planning, engineering management, or a related field required
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience required
- Proven ability to manage scope, budget and schedule of technical tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and project management software required
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-paced environment
- Motivated self-starter who works well independently and supports management
- Adaptable, calm under pressure, and skilled in problem-solving and negotiation
- Knowledge of Deltek Vision
- PMP, PE or equivalent professional license
