itD is seeking a Product Manager in Account Security to join their Retail consulting services practice. The role involves partnering with various stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable login and account creation experiences across digital platforms, while ensuring customer trust and brand integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Support execution of the Account Security product roadmap for our clients, with a primary focus on login, account creation, and identity verification experiences
- Drive requirements from concept through launch while partnering with internal engineering teams, external vendors, and AI‑assisted development tools
- Contribute to initiatives involving modern authentication technologies, including: Passkeys and passwordless login, Multi‑factor / two‑factor authentication, OTP‑based phone or email login
- Translate loosely defined problem statements into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Fraud, Legal, and Privacy partners to ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and data protection standards
- Identify friction points, abuse vectors, and risk signals across web, mobile app, and in‑store supported experiences
- Maintain a healthy, groomed backlog of Account Security‑related user stories and enhancements
- Assess technical questions and partner with Engineering, Architecture, vendors, or AI agents as needed to reach resolution
- Create, document, and evolve lightweight processes, templates, and tools to enable consistent delivery in a fast‑moving environment
- Define data requirements and strategy for feature prioritization, performance, and optimizations, working with a data platform and Adobe Analytics to create reporting and deliver product insights
- Create and leverage metrics, instrumentation, dashboards and experimentation to manage performance and inform product strategy and feature design
- Define and instrument success metrics, KPIs, and guardrails (e.g., conversion, authentication success, fraud loss, support contacts) for Account Security features
- Operate effectively with limited oversight, adjusting priorities and approaches as business needs evolve
- Work closely with our current client partners, including BeyondID, Okta, Forter, Telesign, IPQS, and others
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
- Attend internal itD networking and practice community events (in person and virtual)
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Requirements:
- Strong curiosity about how authentication and risk decisioning work at scale
- Proven experience using data and analytics to inform product strategy, roadmap prioritization and feature design in a product management or related role
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity without relying on rigid process
- Experience collaborating with technical teams, including exposure to AI‑assisted development or automation tools
- Ability to balance customer experience, security requirements, and delivery constraints
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Nimble and flexible in response to changing priorities and evolving problem spaces
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Management or a related role
- Experience delivering features for large‑scale ecommerce or consumer digital platforms
- Hands‑on experience with authentication, identity, or account‑related product features
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models and AI tools (e.g., JIRA, Claude Code, GitHub)
- Experience working on high‑traffic transactional websites or mobile apps
- Familiarity with risk decisioning to proactively identify and mitigate fraud and abuse scenarios is a valuable advantage
- Bachelor's Degree required (or comparable professional experience)
