Job Summary
The Senior NLP Specialist will design and implement natural language processing solutions to analyze and automate processing of large volumes of text data within government systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop NLP models for text classification, summarization, and entity recognition
- Process and analyze large-scale textual datasets (legal, policy, citizen feedback)
- Implement conversational AI/chatbots for government services
- Ensure compliance with accessibility and data privacy standards
- Optimize NLP models for performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams and stakeholders
Required Qualifications
- 13+ years in software/NLP/AI roles
- Experience with state or federal agencies
- Strong expertise in NLP libraries (spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers)
- Experience with deep learning (BERT, GPT-based models)
- Proficiency in Python and cloud platforms
