Security Officer-Full-Time(Bettendorf)

   Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across all areas of the property. This role protects guests, employees, and assets; enforces company and regulatory policies; and responds to incidents or emergencies.

• Provide Family Style Service to guests and staff.

• Offer directions, answer questions, and help resolve issues with courtesy and patience for guests and Team members. 

• Assist with table and slot drops, cash escorts, chip fills, and other money-handling procedures. 

• Provide rapid response and assist with medical and safety emergencies.
• Document incidents clearly using reporting systems.

• Ensure compliance with state gaming regulations, hotel policies, and local laws.

• Monitor all area on property for suspicious behavior and regulatory violations.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Ability to learn other Security specific programs.

• Strong attention to detail when examining guest identification and behavior.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state gaming license

• Must have valid state driver’s license

• High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking.

• Intermittent sitting at a desk or company vehicle.

• Work area is both indoors and outdoors and subject to variable temperatures.

• May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights.
