Sr. Security Engineering Manager (no 3rd parties)

Dexian is a healthcare corporation seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Information Security Manager to lead their Cyber Defense Automation and Platform team. This role involves managing a team of technical resources to develop security strategies and implement effective security measures while collaborating with senior leaders to enhance the organization's security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Cyber Defense Automation and Platform team
• Develop and implement comprehensive cyber defense strategies to protect the organization’s information assets and infrastructure
• Manage a team of technical resources in charge of developing security strategies
• Ensure the effective implementation of security measures
• Collaborate with senior leaders across the organization to deliver security enhancements and design innovative solutions

Requirements:

• Cybersecurity background as an Engineer or Security Manager
• 5+ years of experience in developing and implementing comprehensive cyber defense strategies to protect the organization's information assets and infrastructure
• 3+ years of Software Engineering Team or Security Team management experience
• 5+ years hands-on experience with SDLC and agile processes to deliver complex projects
• Experience in overseeing the development of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR)
• Fortune 500 corporation experience demonstrating the ability to produce and manage within complex matrix reporting organizations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Minimum of 3 years of experience delivering large-scale solutions, preferably within the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of meeting compliance and regulatory requirements
• 7+ years of experience in leading and managing a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to enhance their skills and performance
• 2+ years of experience in work with implementing innovative AI capabilities in security use cases
• 5+ year of hands-on experience with a major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure) services and architecture design
