Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company dedicated to enabling organizations to proactively find and fix exploitable attack vectors. They are seeking a Channel Sales Engineer to assist partners in understanding the value of their cybersecurity products and services, while also providing technical training and support to enhance partner capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist partners in building repeatable service offerings around continuous pentesting, compliance validation, and attack surface management
- Develop and maintain technical collateral, playbooks, best practices, and enablement materials to support partner go-to-market strategies
- Deliver technical training, workshops, and onboarding sessions to upskill partners and internal sales teams
- Demonstrate deep technical expertise in Horizon3.ai’s cybersecurity platform to support partner-led and co-sell opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Channel & Alliances Sales Managers to align partner technical capabilities with customer requirements
- Deliver live product demos, presentations, and proofs-of-value tailored to partner and customer use cases
- Provide guidance on solution design, service integration, and technical scoping for partner-driven opportunities
- Assist with technical responses for RFPs and RFIs, particularly those involving Channel partners
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to partners on offensive security concepts and evolving threat landscapes
- Gather feedback from partners and customers and relay insights to Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and enablement strategy
- Build strong working relationships with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure partner and customer success
- On occasion, assist with post-sales technical guidance to support smooth partner-led implementations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (advanced degrees a plus)
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in the cybersecurity domain
- 3+ years supporting Channel & Alliances team
- Strong understanding of cyber threats, risk management, and security solutions
- Familiarity with managed services delivery models, partner go-to-market motions, and co-sell environments
- Proficiency with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), identity systems (AD/AAD), and networking fundamentals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Partners
- Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or cloud security certifications are desirable
