DevOps Engineer Level II (Salesforce)/Remote

Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer – Level II specializing in Salesforce. This role is responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring secure deployment of Salesforce applications while supporting development and QA teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments
• Manage code versioning and branching strategies using Git
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes (Salesforce metadata, packages)
• Handle environment management (sandboxes, scratch orgs, production)
• Support release management, including planning and execution
• Integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines
• Monitor deployments and troubleshoot issues across environments
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and admins to streamline DevOps practices
• Maintain documentation for pipelines, processes, and configurations

Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce platform and deployment models
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with Salesforce CLI (SFDX) and metadata API
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of DevOps principles and release management
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Platform Developer I)
• Experience with DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, or AutoRABIT
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and integration
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
