Microsoft is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead predictive planning and recommendation experiences for advertisers. This role focuses on developing product strategy across data, models, and user experience, aimed at enhancing budget and growth decisions through machine learning-driven forecasting.
Responsibilities:
- Product Leadership: Develop and communicate the strategy and roadmap for planning & recommendation products across Microsoft’s ad ecosystem
- Customer Advocacy: Represent the product to customers, deeply understand their needs, and champion those needs internally
- Execution & Decision-Making: Navigate ambiguity, make tough prioritization decisions, and drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders
- Communication & Collaboration: Partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive product outcomes
- Data & AI Innovation: Collaborate with Data Science and ML teams to leverage insights and models that power forecasting, scenario planning, and actionable recommendations for advertisers, while upholding responsible use of data and brand trust at scale
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Lead go-to-market efforts with marketing and sales, ensuring product launches drive adoption, transparency, and measurable advertiser impact
- Industry Leadership: Establish Microsoft as a leader in responsible advertising by shaping internal practices and influencing industry standards
