Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to architect and secure multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure. The role involves building automated guardrails, designing Zero Trust architectures, and collaborating with engineering teams to integrate security into development workflows.
Responsibilities:
- Architect and secure multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Build automated guardrails and self-healing systems to reduce vulnerabilities
- Design and implement Zero Trust architectures including identity and policy as code
- Develop and maintain Detection-as-Code pipelines with scalable deployment practices
- Apply AI-driven approaches to threat modeling, anomaly detection, and incident response
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into development workflows
- Continuously evolve security posture through research, testing, and system improvements
Requirements:
- Strong experience securing distributed, multi-cloud environments
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and CI/CD security integration
- Strong understanding of identity systems, least privilege, and Zero Trust principles
- Familiarity with modern detection systems and monitoring tools
- Systems-oriented mindset with a focus on automation and scalable security solutions
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, and writing-driven environment
