The Senior Director of Business Insights & Analytics will lead a high-performing analytics team to translate data into actionable insights, shape strategy, and improve patient outcomes while partnering with various departments to align analytics with organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights that inform enterprise strategy, growth planning, and operational priorities
- Leads patient and consumer journey analytics, delivering insights into pathways, friction points, engagement, adherence, and retention across the end-to-end lifecycle
- Drives advanced analytics and data science initiatives, including predictive modeling, segmentation, experimentation (A/B testing), and performance analytics to support decision-making and risk visibility
- Establishes and evolves scalable analytics infrastructure and data models that enable self-service insights, digital performance measurement, and consistent enterprise reporting
- Partners cross-functionally with Product, Client Success, Customer Success, and Operations teams to translate business questions into analytical strategies and patient-centric solutions
- Defines and governs key metrics, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks, ensuring alignment, consistency, and transparency across the organization
- Builds and leads a high-performing analytics and insights team, establishing best practices in analytics, reporting, and storytelling while fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and data-driven decision making
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in data analytics, finance, business, engineering, or related field
- 10-15+ years of experience in healthcare analytics, pharma services analytics, or performance governance roles
- Experience leading analytics teams at the Director level or above, including managing and developing high-performing analytical talent
- Experience translating complex analytics into actionable insights that support executive decision-making in fast-paced or high-growth environments
- Knowledge of the patient access and specialty pharmacy ecosystem; of healthcare and pharmaceutical services analytics; performance governance frameworks; and scalable analytics frameworks and data governance practices
- Advanced analytical and modeling skills
- Strong data interpretation and synthesis skills
- Executive level communication and data storytelling skills
- Proficiency with modern analytics and business intelligence tools, such as SQL, Python or R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms used for advanced analysis and visualization
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills
- Ability to inform strategic and operational decision making
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop high performing analytics or insights teams
- Ability to align analytics execution with business priorities
- Ability to analyze and interpret operational and financial data
- Master's degree in business, analytics, or related discipline
- Experience working with manufacturer-sponsored programs, performance-based contracts, or SLA-driven service models
- Experience working directly with pharmaceutical manufacturer clients
- Experience supporting specialty pharmacy or DTC healthcare models
