Python Engineer - Senior

The BitByBit Company is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join their experienced team. The role involves building web and mobile applications using Python, specifically with Django, and requires advanced experience in creating secure APIs and working with various databases.

Responsibilities:

• Have 6+ years experience in Python – building web and mobile applications, preferably Django
• Advanced experience in building modern and secure APIs
• Have worked with Git, Issue tracking, SQL, Mac/Linux terminal
• Can deal efficiently with relational and non-relational databases
• Have know-how about regular usage of unit tests
• Are well-versed in choosing the best tools and libraries to start a project as well as have the knowledge of the language’s quirks
• Have a deep understanding of Docker, Linux and Bash
• Can dissuade a client from providing guidance and expertise in your field
• Have an very good command of written and spoken English (B2+)
• Can lead a project independently
• Have knowledge of at least one JS framework (React)
• Know the Agile methodologies
• Are always willing to help other developers
• Have a know-how of modern HTML, CSS
• Have some DevOps skills (CI/CD, Ansible)
• Are an open-source contributor
