Allied Resources Technical Consultants is seeking a Power Integrity Engineer to play a key role in the simulation, development, validation, and deployment of advanced power delivery and power distribution solutions for data center applications. The engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design power conversion systems and validate performance through simulation and lab testing.
Responsibilities:
- Design, validate, and characterize power conversion and delivery systems for large‑scale data center infrastructure
- Develop power distribution components such as cables, connectors, and bus bars supporting 800+V and 20+kA server rack and data center applications
- Create power integrity simulation models and plan comprehensive simulation suites
- Correlate simulation results with laboratory measurements to validate models
- Work with vendors to specify, procure, and validate new designs and components
- Measure and characterize AC response, parasitics, and impedance of power products
- Identify and resolve electrical issues through hands‑on testing, debugging, and root‑cause analysis
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports to support product development and validation
- Lead high‑value development initiatives and interface with large cross‑functional engineering groups
- Manage technical collaboration with customers and align internal development efforts with technical and functional requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience
- 8–10 years of electrical engineering experience, including 5+ years in power conversion and distribution
- Experience using electrical design and analysis tools such as SPICE, Allegro, PowerDC, Ansys Q3D, or similar
- Strong knowledge of voltage converter architectures
- Hands‑on experience using lab instrumentation including network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and related test equipment
- Comfortable working independently in a geographically dispersed team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to present technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders across disciplines and locations
- Willingness to travel 25%–30% as required
- Familiarity with high‑voltage and 3‑phase electrical systems
