DevOps Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a DevOps Engineer to develop, manage, and secure container platforms for their clients. The role involves using cloud technologies to improve client environments and support the development of critical cloud platforms through container management software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities
• Help develop container management software to solve client challenges
• Strengthen skills using the latest cloud technologies to improve client environments with current container software
• Support the team in informing strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process
• Recommend resources to help clients manage and securely adopt containers
• Gain DevOps skills and experience while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience with Ansible
• 2+ years of experience with container orchestration platforms
• 2+ years of experience managing software deployments through CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with AWS or Azure
• Experience developing enterprise cloud-native solutions and on-premise
• Experience with OOP scripting or program languages
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with some sysadmin and lab management
• Knowledge of automation, programming and scripting languages, infrastructure automation, and microservices
• Knowledge of triaging and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
• Top Secret clearance
