Instrumentation Engineer | Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking Calibration Technologists and Technicians to ensure the accuracy of measurement equipment. The role involves executing calibration procedures, evaluating measurement standards, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve calibration processes.

Responsibilities:

• Execute and adapt calibration procedures to ensure accuracy of measurement equipment
• Apply knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and electronics in daily work
• Evaluate measurement standards and reference materials for device calibration
• Document calibration processes, results, and compliance records with precision
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspection, identifying and resolving issues
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address calibration challenges and improve processes
• Troubleshoot calibration issues and maintain detailed technical records

Requirements:

• Strong experience in calibration, testing, or a related technical field
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Strong foundation in measurement science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and electronics
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance, inspection, and equipment assembly
• Demonstrated dependability and careful handling of sensitive instruments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to execute and modify calibration procedures independently
