BIM Engineer (Blender) | $65/hr Remote

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Blender Expert to lead end-to-end 3D project pipelines using Blender. The role involves managing complex BIM workflows, ensuring accuracy and interoperability of BIM data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end 3D project pipelines in Blender from concept to production-ready outputs
• Utilize Bonsai (BlenderBIM) to manage complex BIM workflows within Blender
• Model, structure, and refine geometry and BIM data ensuring accuracy and interoperability
• Import and export IFC files, manage scenes, and organize building elements effectively
• Document workflows and articulate design decisions to support AI training processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Prepare high-quality outputs and documentation for design and construction use

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Blender with full project lifecycle delivery
• Strong experience with Bonsai or BlenderBIM and BIM workflows
• Proficiency in BIM data structuring, IFC handling, and project organization
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD and 3D CAD interoperability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong ability to manage complex projects independently
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
