The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) is a state agency dedicated to serving vulnerable populations in Georgia. They are seeking a Child Support Customer Services Representative 2 to communicate with clients and ensure that child support obligations are met through various forms of communication. This role involves coordinating activities with legal and public organizations while maintaining detailed documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Communicates Child Support obligations and communicates necessary information to ensure obligations are met
- Communicates with clients and other constituents via telephone, email, correspondence, and direct contact
- Coordinates child support activities with legal, judicial, and public organizations
- Obtains and documents detailed information
- Performs other professional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of direct job-related experience
- OR One (1) year of experience at the lower level Child Support Cust Svc Rep 1 (SST090) or position equivalent
- Home based technology that is equipped with a Windows based operating system and high speed internet access in order to receive the agency's software applications required for candidates approved to telework
- Compliance with State of GA teleworking policy requirements
- Excellent oral, written, analytical, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and/or standard software applications typically used in a corporate office environment
- High school diploma/GED AND Two (2) years of call center experience
