They are seeking a Solution Engineer to build production-grade proof of concept integrations and maintain a scalable demo environment that supports the global Sales Engineering organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable proof of concept integrations and demo environments that showcase the full 8x8 platform
- Build secure, production-quality full-stack applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, APIs, and authentication best practices
- Rapidly prototype integrations that combine 8x8 solutions, ecosystem partners, and AI-driven capabilities
- Ensure the demo platform remains reliable, up to date, and aligned with new product features and enhancements
- Create reusable demo assets and intuitive, story-driven user experiences for global Sales Engineering teams
- Collaborate with Sales Engineers, Product, and Engineering to tailor demonstrations and integrations for strategic opportunities
- Develop documentation, technical guides, and enablement materials to support field adoption
Requirements:
- Proven experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance efficiency, problem-solving, and collaboration
- 3 to 5 years sales engineering experience in Unified Communications
- High availability telephony and contact center architectures platform and application design
- Ability to provide technical leadership
- Ability to work effectively on a remote basis
- Requires an action-oriented individual with a very strong initiative to be successful
- Willingness to take ownership of the demo environment and account related actions
- Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams
