Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the product roadmap for K–12 offerings, with a clear connection between feature decisions and measurable learning outcomes — including engagement, completion, and access to real-world opportunities
- Build products that align with curriculum standards (e.g., Common Core, NGSS, state standards) while remaining flexible enough to serve the varied needs of districts, schools, and individual learners
- Design platform and product experiences that serve multiple audiences — students, teachers, and school or district administrators — with an understanding of each group's distinct workflows and success criteria
- Incorporate AI tools into your product development workflow — including content creation, personalization concepts, and engagement strategies — with a willingness to learn, experiment, and iterate as the toolset evolves
- Explore and apply intelligent engagement approaches that surface the right content or encouragement to learners at the right moment, reducing drop-off and supporting sustained participation
- Stay current on AI trends in EdTech and bring informed perspectives to the team on where and how AI can meaningfully improve learning experiences
- Define success metrics for product features, ensuring decisions are grounded in student performance, engagement, and completion data. Collaborate with data products team, defining features that connect learning to measurable outcomes
- Support data models that enable cross-product reporting, giving teachers, districts, and partners a clear view of learner progress and program performance
- Maintain familiarity with student data privacy requirements, including FERPA and COPPA, and ensure product decisions reflect compliance obligations
- Lead the product lifecycle from discovery through launch and iteration, using agile methodologies throughout
- Conduct user research with educators and students — including classroom observation and usability testing — to keep product decisions grounded in real-world experience
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience in EdTech, SaaS, consumer technology, or an adjacent field
- Experience delivering user-centered, data-informed products with clear outcome metrics
- Familiarity with AI tools and a demonstrated willingness to apply them in product or content workflows — hands-on deployment experience is a plus, but curiosity and learning agility are equally valued
- Experience working in agile development environments with a bias toward iteration and experimentation
- Strong communication skills across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree required
