Network Engineer I

Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer I to join their dynamic and growing team. The role focuses on daily certificate lifecycle operations to prevent outages and security incidents by ensuring certificates are managed correctly before expiration.

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring certificate alerts
• Coordinating renewals with application and platform teams
• Validating certificate replacements
• Ensuring ownership and follow-through
• Reviewing certificate expiration alerts and daily queues
• Identifying the owning team for expiring certificates
• Opening or updating tickets to track renewal progress
• Assisting with certificate issuance or reissuance using established tools
• Validating certificate installation (e.g., checking endpoints or configurations)
• Communicating status updates to stakeholders
• Escalating risks when timelines or ownership are unclear
