PR Manager

HeyGen is focused on making visual storytelling accessible through AI-powered video technology. They are seeking a PR Manager to build the company's reputation by securing media coverage, shaping the narrative in AI discussions, and elevating the visibility of their leadership. This role involves working closely with marketing and leadership to craft compelling stories and manage media relations.

Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with journalists, editors, and influential newsletters covering AI, startups, and technology
• Directly pitch and secure coverage in tier-1 outlets and leading AI/tech publications
• Identify compelling story angles tied to product launches, industry trends, and cultural moments
• Position HeyGen’s founders and executives as thought leaders in AI and the future of communication
• Secure podcast appearances, interviews, and speaking opportunities
• Help craft messaging and talking points for external appearances
• Lead PR efforts around product launches, partnerships, and company milestones
• Coordinate embargoes, media briefings, and launch-day outreach
• Work closely with product marketing to translate product updates into compelling media stories
• Identify and submit HeyGen for relevant awards, rankings, and industry lists across AI, startups, and media
• Help strengthen HeyGen’s presence in the broader AI conversation
• Track coverage and identify opportunities to increase our share of voice in the AI video category
