Software Engineer, Beneficial Deployments

Anthropic is a public benefit corporation dedicated to creating reliable and interpretable AI systems. They are seeking experienced software engineers to join their Beneficial Deployments Engineering team to help make AI accessible to underserved communities and organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure that enables accessible, self-serve onboarding and verification systems for global markets
• Understand the needs of underserved communities and translate them into scalable technical and product solutions
• Build flexible pricing, billing, and provisioning systems that balance accessibility with sustainability for resource-constrained organizations
• Develop MCP integrations that connect Claude with mission-critical tools used by nonprofits, educators, healthcare workers, and researchers
• Develop multilingual and accessibility capabilities across platforms
• Build systems to measure and demonstrate social impact at scale
• Partner with product, partnerships, and field teams to rapidly prototype and validate solutions with real communities
• Ensure platform reliability and performance for mission-critical deployments in humanitarian and social impact contexts
