Reporting Consultant 14/M/Q/Y Regulatory & Management Reporting

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Reporting Consultant to support the preparation, validation, and delivery of daily (14-day), monthly (M), quarterly (Q), and yearly (Y) reports. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and management insights within a banking environment. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, banking domain knowledge, and experience with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver 14-day, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in line with internal and regulatory requirements
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all submitted reports
- Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and IT teams to gather and validate data
- Interpret regulatory reporting requirements and implement reporting logic accordingly
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and variance analysis across reporting cycles
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations for reported figures
- Automate and improve reporting processes using tools such as SQL, Excel, or BI platforms
- Maintain proper documentation of reporting processes, controls, and methodologies
- Monitor changes in regulatory guidelines and update reporting frameworks accordingly
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3 7 years of experience in banking reporting, regulatory reporting, or financial analysis
- Strong understanding of reporting cycles: daily / monthly / quarterly / annual
- Experience working in banking or financial institutions
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- SQL or data querying tools
- Reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
- Knowledge of financial products, balance sheet, and P&L concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel, liquidity reporting, capital reporting)
- Familiarity with systems like Axiom, Moody s, or similar regulatory reporting tools
- Certification such as CFA, CPA, or FRM (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience in process automation or data transformation tools (Python, Alteryx, etc.)
