Data Center Service Engineer

Carrier Global Corporation is a leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, dedicated to enhancing comfort and sustainability. They are seeking a motivated Data Center Service Engineer to maintain and support data center equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability while also training and mentoring technicians involved in new data center start-ups.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for data center equipment at multiple sites
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data center operations and resolve escalated issues
• Assist in onboarding and training technical staff for data center start-up projects
• Provide customer training for our customers and their staff on the equipment operation and maintenance
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures at all times

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in the Data Center or HVAC industry in a technical support role
• 1+ years of experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Clean and valid driver's license
• Travel to and from data centers on an as needed basis
• Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or building HVAC
• An understanding of Data Center equipment
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Strong problem solving, planning and management skills
• Ability to read and understand scope of work
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in dealing with a number of simultaneous challenges, requiring knowledge of many different disciplines
• A true team player who has the customer's best interests first and foremost
