Automation & Controls Engineer (AVEVA)

SARACA is a global engineering R&D services company catering to diverse industries, including MedTech, Aerospace, Rail, Automotive, Semiconductor, Defense, and Farm. The role involves implementing, migrating, and integrating AVEVA System Platform within a complex industrial ecosystem, requiring hands-on expertise in SCADA, HMI, and OEM integrations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform system assessments & requirement analysis for AVEVA System Platform implementation
• Install & configure:System Platform (ArchestrA IDE)
• InTouch HMI
• AVEVA Historian & Historian Client
• Execute migration strategies from legacy systems (2014 R2 → 2023R2SP1)
• Integrate with external OEM OPC/OPC UA providers
• Troubleshoot I/O connectivity & system-level issues
• Support system cutovers & change management processes
• Work in secure (PAM) environments following access protocols

Requirements:

• Strong experience with AVEVA System Platform (ArchestrA IDE)
• Hands-on with InTouch HMI & AVEVA Historian
• Expertise in OPC / OPC UA communication
• PLC integration (Rockwell / Siemens / Mitsubishi)
• SQL Server & Windows Server administration
• Understanding of ISA-95 & manufacturing workflows
• Experience in change management environments
• AVEVA MES / MOM / Operations
• MQTT protocols
• Azure DevOps / Agile tools
• VMware / Hyper-V
• ITIL framework
• Performance tuning & modern HMI design
