Senior Manager Program/Project Managment

Lumen Technologies is transforming how businesses connect and scale in an AI-driven world. The Senior Manager of Program/Project Management will oversee complex programs and ensure successful project execution while collaborating with various teams to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develops, plans and manages development and implementation activities for highly complex programs for external and internal customers to ensure success of business objectives
• Manage scope definition, stakeholder expectations, project plan, milestones and associated deliverables, project financials and business case, stakeholder relationships and deliverables
• Development and management of cross program delivery teams composed of cross-functional internal and external resources
• Assesses project plans and progress, collect, consolidate, and review status reports as needed, as well as review status with project leaders on a continuous basis
• Support end-to-end project planning, risk identification, dependency tracking, issue identification and change management on projects
• Sets and controls standards and mentors the team to improve delivery of projects on time and within budget, given scope and known risks
• Continually identifies opportunities for innovation and improvement within projects as well as across Infrastructure Shared Services
• Lead both Project Control Specialists and Project Specialist to measure EVM, CPI, SPI for each project or sites

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in Telecom industry (wireless, wireline, transport)
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years' people management experience
• Experience leading multiple complex projects in the technology industry
• Strong skills with MS Project Plan, Visio, PowerPoint and Excel
• PMP certification
• Master's preferred
