Responsibilities:
- Partner with Initiative Owner to define problem statement, objectives, success measures, and business outcomes for assigned initiatives
- Lead development of initiative charter, business case, and scope definition, including clear articulation of value, risks, and dependencies
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, process impacts, and user needs to inform solution design and delivery approach
- Develop and maintain integrated initiative roadmap, milestones, and KPIs, ensuring alignment to transformation priorities and interdependencies across workstreams
- Ensure change, adoption, and stakeholder impacts are embedded into planning from the outset
- Structure and manage initiatives as integrated programs where applicable, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams, projects, and contributing teams
- Lead day-to-day execution of initiatives, ensuring work is progressing against defined scope, milestones, and success criteria
- Translate business objectives into coordinated plans across multiple workstreams and teams, ensuring alignment, sequencing, and integration of deliverables
- Continuously refine requirements and solution direction based on stakeholder input, data, and evolving business needs
- Identify, manage, and resolve risks, issues, and interdependencies, removing blockers and escalating with recommended actions as needed
- Ensure solutions being delivered are aligned to defined business outcomes and operational realities, not just technical or functional completion
- Drive integration across workstreams, ensuring dependencies are managed, sequencing is optimized, and the program delivers cohesive business outcomes
- Actively engage stakeholders across GSUSA and councils to build alignment, surface needs, and drive shared ownership of outcomes
- Translate initiative goals into clear, targeted communication and engagement approaches for different audiences

- Leads complex, cross-functional initiatives, including initiatives that span multiple workstreams or operate as programs, from problem definition through execution and adoption; able to structure ambiguous work, drive clarity, and ensure delivery against defined outcomes—not just tasks or timelines
- Able to define problems, elicit and translate business needs into clear requirements, assess process impacts, and ensure solutions are aligned to business objectives and operational realities
- Understands and applies change management principles within delivery; proactively identifies stakeholder impacts, resistance, and adoption risks, and embeds practical actions to ensure sustained outcomes
- Builds alignment across diverse stakeholders, including a federated council network; able to influence without authority, navigate competing priorities, and drive shared ownership of outcomes
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; able to break down complex problems, identify root causes, and develop actionable, pragmatic solutions
- Drives work forward with urgency and accountability; proactively manages risks, dependencies, and decisions while maintaining focus on outcomes and quality
- Communicates clearly and concisely across audiences; able to translate complex concepts into actionable insights, decisions, and next steps for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
