Optum is seeking a BI Analyst to support a large-scale initiative migrating legacy BI reporting from SAP BusinessObjects to Microsoft BI tools. This role is highly collaborative and stakeholder-facing, requiring strong requirements gathering, documentation, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, lead, and participate in meeting with internal teams and external stakeholders to support BI reporting initiatives
- Gather business and technical requirements and document the current BI reporting landscape
- Analyst existing reports and workflows to recommend future design during the migration to Microsoft BI tools
- Provide daily and weekly status updates to internal and external teams
- Serve as a point of contact for end users providing guidance and troubleshooting
- Ensure successful delivery via strong collaboration with the team
Requirements:
- Must have previous Business Intelligence experience in PowerBI, SAP BusinessObjects, and Jira
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft BI tools or other business intelligence tools
- 2+ years working in an Agile environment, including the use of an agile tracking tool Jira
- 1+ Year of experience in PowerBI
- 1+ Year of experience in SAP BusinessObjects
- 2+ years of database experience
- 2+ years of experience gathering and documenting requirements
- Experience interacting with and presenting to stakeholders
- Strong communication skills
