Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Software Engineer to develop software and systems that make a difference. The role involves creating end-to-end solutions and helping clients address their challenges using modern tools and technologies.

Responsibilities:

Resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast, agile environment
Develop software and systems from vision to production-ready
Identify needed system improvements
Help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies
Make sure the solution developed by the team considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements

Requirements:

2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages, including Java or Python
Experience working with back-end and front-end programming languages to develop complete solutions
Experience with API development, including REST architectural style
Experience with Linux OS and command line interface
Top Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+ or CISSP Certification, within 6 months of start date
Experience with network security, including access and authorization for PKI and chain trusting
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with non-relational databases, including MongoDB
Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Git, and GitLab
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
DoD 8570 Certification, including Security+ or CISSP Certification
