Financial Planning & Analysis Intern

The Financial Planning & Analysis Intern will support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial performance. Interns help prepare financial reports, evaluate variances between actuals and forecasts, and assist in identifying trends that inform business decisions. This internship provides hands‑on experience with financial processes, analytical tools, and strategic planning within Rheem Enterprise.

This position will serve our Enterprise Division, located in Atlanta, GA (Onsite).

• Ownership of specified daily/weekly responsibilities

• Ownership of assigned long projects

• Program completion presentation to management, as applicable

• Documenting findings, processes, policies, and procedures

• Participating in department projects

• Share best practices and knowledge with others at enterprise and Rheem business units.

• Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or other relevant fields; or pursing a Masters/MBA.

• Must have a minimum overall and major GPA of 3.5

• Must be able to work 40 hours each week

• Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for data analysis - pivots, v-lookups; etc.

• Ability to communicate in emails and verbally in a professional, clear and concise manner

• Ability to detect and propose remediation steps for process issues and errors

• Ability to own and carry out responsibilities delegated by verbal or written instruction

• Basic understanding of US GAAP
