Principal PCB/RF Engineer

EVONA is one of the fastest growing space communications companies in the market, seeking well-rounded RF Hardware Engineers. The role involves designing and developing board-level electronics with a strong focus on RF circuitry, providing end-to-end ownership from schematic capture through lab validation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop board-level electronics with integrated RF circuitry
• Create schematics and PCB layouts using Altium
• Implement RF designs directly on PCBs, including component selection
• Collaborate closely with fabrication, manufacturing, and hardware teams
• Perform hands-on lab work including board bring-up, debugging, and testing
• Own the RF portion of designs from concept through production

Requirements:

• Strong experience in board-level hardware design, including RF integration
• Proficiency with Altium for schematic and PCB layout
• Ability to independently select components and implement RF circuitry
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and hardware debugging
• Comfortable working across the full hardware development lifecycle
• Well-rounded hardware engineering background (not purely theoretical or narrow RF specialization)
• Due to ITAR, this role will need a Green Card Holder or US Citizen
