Generative Software Engineer

Zerg AI is a company focused on enabling development teams to generate production-grade code on demand. They are seeking a Generative Software Engineer to build Python data connectors for a top-tier cybersecurity partner and enhance the capabilities of their platform.

Responsibilities:

• Generate & integrate: Prompt Zerg to create connectors for cloud APIs, log streams, and security tools, then guide them into the customer’s stack
• Debug & harden: Tackle edge-case auth flows, schema quirks, and performance hiccups; wrap everything in tests and least-privilege controls
• Improve the engine: Feed real-world insights back to Zerg’s core framework and platform, refining prompts, features, and workflows

Requirements:

• 5 yrs building software
• 3 yrs Python
• Comfort and interest in AI-powered code generation
• Familiar with SOC data pipelines
• Secrets and threat-model thinking
• Clear communicator who thrives in remote, fast-moving teams
