The Associate Software Engineer will work with an experienced team in a fast-paced, agile environment to develop and support data transformation and analytics systems.
Responsibilities:
- Work within the team developing and supporting data transformation and analytics systems with patent pending technology and applications to support our in-house audit partners
- Design and implement new solutions
- Maintain existing solutions
- Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space
- Peer review software changes by other developers
- Provide technical input to the team on development
- Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout
- Work collaboratively with business partners to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system/technical requirements
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
- Optimization and tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
- 0-1 year experience with languages: Java or Python
- 0–1 year experience with relational databases
- 0-1 year experience with web services using Java and Spring Boot
- Basic Knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices
- Ability to think critically and evaluate information objectively
- Must have a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting
- Strong numerical skills are essential for conducting quantitative analysis
- Skilled in interpreting data visualizations, charts, graphs, and other forms of data presentation
- Effective communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- A strong desire to learn and explore new methodologies, techniques, and tools
- The ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and overcome setbacks
- Upholding ethical standards and maintaining integrity in handling sensitive data
