Motorola Solutions is a global leader in professional mobile communications systems and public safety software. The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing Mobile Video solutions, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Leads large projects by developing detailed project plans, managing timelines and resources, and establishing clear goals
- Identifies and mitigates risks, and develops corrective action plans
- Demonstrates awareness of all nine areas of PMBOK project management, PRINCE2, or applicable PM standard with a firm understanding of the two
- Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of the project
Requirements:
- High School diploma, plus a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas: Business, Communications, Finance, IT, Management, or Technology required
- 3+ years of experience in Project Management, Program Management, Business Operations, or Sales required
- Must be able to obtain a background clearance as required by our government customers
- 3+ years of experience working in a Project Management/Program Management environment
- Strong presentation and negotiating skills
- PMP Certification preferred
- Familiarity with Public Safety communications systems, software solutions or mobile video solutions
- Mobile video technology to include required wireless/LTE infrastructure, policy/procedures for retention/redaction/chain of custody, evidence management software and workflow a plus
- Self-motivated and team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives
