Senior Analytics Engineer

Harnham is a high-growth, private equity-backed healthcare organization revolutionizing primary and behavioral care delivery. They are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the middle layer of the data stack, translating complex healthcare business logic into scalable dbt models and ensuring data is structured for precise querying.

Responsibilities:

• Architect the Semantic Layer: Define metrics, naming conventions, and data structures that enable natural language querying (NLQ) and self-service BI
• Engineering Excellence: Build and maintain high-performance dbt models utilizing advanced macros, snapshots, and exposures
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Data Engineers to refine ingestion and BI Developers to ensure seamless consumption
• AI Readiness: Structure data specifically to support emerging agentic BI tools (e.g., ThoughtSpot) and LLM-driven analytics

Requirements:

• 6–8 years of total experience in Data/Analytics Engineering
• 3+ years of dedicated experience with dbt (Required)
• Must have deep experience in the Healthcare industry (Claims/Clinical data)
• Advanced SQL skills and a strong understanding of dimensional modelling
• Familiarity with modern warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, or Fabric) and semantic tools (Cube, AtScale, or LookML) is a major plus
