CrowdPlat is seeking a highly experienced Senior EHR Data & Integration Lead to support enterprise healthcare data initiatives, including EHR migration, data transformation, and reporting. This role combines deep Cerner Millennium expertise with strong data engineering capabilities to translate clinical requirements into scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document clinical workflows across inpatient, outpatient, and ancillary systems
- Translate clinical and operational needs into technical data specifications
- Partner with clinical and informatics teams to ensure accurate system representation
- Design, develop, and optimize Cerner Command Language (CCL) scripts
- Perform complex data extraction and validation from Cerner Millennium (Oracle) environments
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines, structured data feeds, and flat-file extracts
- Support large-scale EHR data migration and legacy system retirement initiatives
- Troubleshoot performance issues in CCL scripts and data pipelines
- Support system integrations, reporting, and analytics workflows
- Execute and manage batch jobs across production and non-production environments
- Act as a liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams
- Communicate technical constraints and data limitations to non-technical audiences
- Support governance, compliance, and enterprise data standards
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare IT, data engineering, or EHR systems
- Strong hands-on experience with Cerner Command Language (CCL)
- Deep understanding of Cerner Millennium architecture and Oracle databases
- Proven experience supporting large-scale EHR implementations or migrations
- Strong experience with: SQL and Linux environments
- Data extraction, transformation, and ETL processes
- Healthcare data integrations and reporting systems
- Ability to translate clinical workflows into technical/data solutions
- Experience with REST/SOA services and distributed systems
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, Python, C/C++, Perl, etc.)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
- Prior experience in a technical lead or senior consultant role within Cerner environments
- Experience working with enterprise healthcare systems and clinical informatics teams
- Exposure to performance tuning and large-scale data environments
