About this role
Entegee is seeking a Structural Engineer with an Illinois SE License and experience in commercial nuclear projects for design and analysis at power plants. The role involves designing and analyzing structures, conducting studies, and developing analytical models for seismic analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analysis of concrete, steel structures, heavy load components, and equipment supports
- Conduct conceptual studies, cost and planning studies, design calculations, specification development, and seismic analysis
- Develop 3-D analytical models utilizing FEA analysis techniques and response spectra seismic analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Experience with MathCAD Prime, GTSTRUDL, and Finite Element Analysis software
- Illinois SE License
- Experience in commercial nuclear projects for design and analysis at power plants
- Previous design verification qualification/certification under 10CFR50 Appendix B QA programs
- Experience with Mathcad or Matlab
