New York Technology Partners is seeking a senior-level Business Analyst to support a pharmaceutical digital organization, focusing on Salesforce and field force enablement. This high-impact, client-facing role involves partnering with business stakeholders to document complex business needs and translate them into actionable requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead deep-dive discovery sessions with business stakeholders to uncover true business needs beyond stated requests
- Translate complex business requirements into detailed documentation, including high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria
- Support backlog development and prioritization for a large-scale oncology program following post-production release
- Analyze and document patient registration workflows, ensuring field representatives have access to critical data within Salesforce
- Gather and define business requirements for data flowing from multiple web properties into Salesforce, identifying both common and unique data elements
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment between business needs and system capabilities across Salesforce and web platforms
- Act as a bridge between non-technical stakeholders and technical teams, clearly articulating requirements without dictating technical design
- Proactively ask insightful questions, challenge assumptions, and drive clarity in ambiguous or evolving situations
- Produce clear, structured, and comprehensive documentation to support development and implementation efforts
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within life sciences or pharmaceutical environments
- Strong experience working with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and refine requirements
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal direction
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence non-technical, senior-level stakeholders
- Proven ability to think critically, ask probing questions, and uncover underlying business needs
- Excellent documentation skills, with a focus on clarity, structure, and usability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience supporting field force enablement, commercial pharma operations, or patient assistance programs
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus, but not required; ability to quickly learn new platforms is essential
